How to embed fonts into a Microsoft Word document

If you’re sending a document with specific fonts and the recipient doesn’t have the same fonts installed, all your hard work making the document look great will be waster. Here’s how you embed fonts into the Word document so this never becomes an issue.


Step 1

In your document, go to file.

Step 2

Find options from the left hand side of the file menu.

Step 3

Find and click the ‘Save’ tab

Step 4

Tick the box to “Embed fonts in the file” and hit ‘OK’

This will make sure that your fonts are safe when sending them on!
